Search the dictionary by Ideographic Description Sequence (IDS), or construct one from components. Exact search respects the full structure; fuzzy search also finds structurally similar characters.
Construct a character structure
Select a slot, then add a structure operator or a component. The constructor writes standard prefix-order IDS for you.
Hard-to-input components 難輸入部件
If a component is awkward to type directly, choose its total stroke count and then its first stroke. This is an input aid, not a judgement about how difficult the component is to learn. The five first-stroke classes follow the IRG system.
