范氏，诸生黄虞彦妻。丙戌即顺治三年，从虞彦自由稼里迁鸡啼冈。山冠破其围，氏与虞彦诀，先驱两女下井，而后继之。及入井，大呼救我。虞彦缒之起，笑曰：无他也，贼所利者财，君空手必为所害。乃解中金十二两授之，曰：得此或可活君命也。复投井死。后被俘之人，无金者皆被杀，虞彦果免。虞彦，汉阳府判应明孙，六世科甲，为人长者，有文誉。
