接貴家語，不勝欽佩。文正公心法，閣下得而傳之，故能脫離富貴習氣，樂我天真，不隨物轉也。致某君書，實為振興頹敝之妙法，恐某君無此志向，則了無所益。然公之眾覽，必有肯取法者。盜竊因緣，推至其極，則可以為聖為賢，實為救世至文。由是知因果之道，至深至遠，彼以因果為權漸小乘者，皆道聽途說之流也。光常曰：「因果者，世出世間聖人，平治天下，度脫眾生之大權也。當今之世，若不提倡因果報應，雖佛菩薩聖賢俱出於世，亦末如之何矣。」又曰：「善教兒女，為治平之本，而教女尤要。」又曰：「治國平天下之權，女人家操得一大半。以世少賢人，由於世少賢女。有賢女，則有賢妻賢母矣。有賢妻賢母，則其夫其子女之不賢者，蓋亦鮮矣。彼學堂提倡男女平權，直是不知世務。須知男有男之權，女有女之權。相夫教子，乃女人之天職，其權極大。不於此講究。令女子參政等為平權，直是不識皁白者之亂統也。」光之愚見如是，不知閣下以為然否？如其不甚悖謬，敢祈大加發揮，亦未始非挽回世道之一助也。
