月有山乎？佛氏謂月中之景，大地山河，謂之月有山可也。山有月乎？趙知微登天柱峰，得月於陰晦之秋，謂之山有月可也。夫月者，水之精；山者，石之積也，水與石不相入，而未嘗不相入也，此彥明氏得月之山，以為物之奇會也。彥明昔為開化縣，得此於金錢溪上，孤峰特起如一弁，今之顛有白章若月之弦者，彥明喜之若獲拱璧，曰：「溪名金錢，而溪之神不以錢凂我，而以此月之山，吾烏得不拜神，休以為奇也。」遂名之曰月山，且繪為圖，出以示予，請《月山記》。余笑曰：「此月山之假耳，圖益假，余何記？吾將與子梯九節杖，挾飛仙，以遊於廣寒宮，以俯攬乎海內外之名山。又將東上岱峰萬仞之頂，看黃玉輪出九地底。
