世之非相地者曰：「古之葬者，授地於百司，無相地之術也。昔之聖人仰觀俯察，求利於吾人，至於農獵之賤，無不推其利害，以詔於人。使相地之術果信，其何教不在農獵後也？」余嘗辯之曰：「卜其兆成，以為藏者安，不可無也。卜其脈絡形勝，以為生者貧賤富貴壽夭賢昏之辨，則未必有也。《詩》云『既景乃岡，相其陰陽』，則岡之陰陽，亦有繫於相宇之便不便者。詩云『卜澗水東水西，惟裛食則之東西』，亦繫於遷邑之利不利也已。然擇丈尺之窆，以覬福於百年之腐骨。使人之愚子孫藏其祖考十年五年不即土者，則狐首指蒙之書之過也。」天台何心傳，宋大學博士瓜隱先生之孫也。家有六宜樓，以延海內之名師傅，講習之餘，有傳其師玉平山人相地之術。將挾是以遊京師，求余一言以自儆。
