惟櫻桃之為樹，先百果而含榮，既離離而春就，乍苒苒而冬迎，異群龍之旡首，殊大器之晚成，鳥纔食而便墮，雨薄灑而皆零，未覩紅顏之實，空有薦廟之名，等橘柚於簷戶，匹諸薦乎中庭，異梧桐之棲鳳，愧綠竹之恆貞，豈復論其美惡，且聳幹乎前櫺，葉繁抽而掩日，枝長弱而風生，且得蔽乎曦赫，實當暑之淒清。
