吾以菲德，屬當期運。鑒與吾賢，思隆治道。而明不遠燭，所蔽者多。實寄賢能，匡其寡暗。嘗謂山林之志，上所宜宏；激貪厲薄，義等為政。自居元首，臨對百司。雖復執文經武，各修厥職，群才競爽，以致和美，而鎮風靜俗，變教論道，自非箕潁高人，莫膺茲寄。

  是用虛心側席，屬想清塵，不得不屈茲獨往，同此濡足。便望釋蘿襲袞，出野登朝。必不以湯有慚德，武未盡善，不降其身，不屈其志，使璧帛虛往，蒲輪空歸。傾首東路，望兼立表。

  羲軒邈矣，古今殊事。不獲總駕崆峒，依風問道。今方復引領雲台，虛己宣室。紆賢之愧，載結寢興。
