袁粲領袖一時，儀形物右，聲逾裴樂，譽出王、劉。士有懷道蘊義，望塵而趨者，或三年而未識，乍四旬而一見，與君道合神遇，投分披衿，敷文研理，匪晨伊暮。至於神經怪牒，綠笥丹筒，金版玉箱，錦文緹帙，並藏諸靈府，秘於瑤臺，而君莫不遍探冥賾，具閱局檢，常以前賢往學，亟與聖違，賈、馬、盧、鄭，非無紕越，荀、郭、何、王，彌多踳謬，二義可辨，未值高卿之疑，九事非難，不逢平叔之問。其詩、賦、銘、誄，所作猶多。
