臣昨具表乞解機政，伏奉手詔未賜俞允者。
明主訓辭之寵，宜即奉承；匹夫志守之愚，敢覬矜允。（中謝。）竊以品制百為，總裁萬務，任怨蓋難於持久，服勞安可以獨賢？所以中外迭居，是為祖宗故事。況於疲曳，加以瞀昏，若由昧冒而無慚，其必顛隮而不救。臣過叨睿獎，備進近司。當循名責實之時，故任怨特多於前輩；兼蠲令改制之事，故服勞尤在於一身。雖蒙全度之恩，僅免譴訶之域。某於多故，實以難支。矧疾疢之交攻，且事為之浸廢。伏望陛下昭其悃愊，假以優遊。使得休養於衰疲，以示保全於孤拙。
