佛说大乘戒经
  如是我闻。一时佛在舍卫国祇树给孤独园。尔时世尊告苾刍言。有破坏戒行寿命者。有断灭善根者。出家难值发精进心坚固守护。若诸苾刍等。于佛法中求解脱者。远离一切诸恶苦恼。如佛所说宁舍身命而趣无常。不得纵心犯其戒律。若人舍命只坏一生。若复破戒令百万生沉沦恶道。若人持戒当得见佛。戒为最上庄严。戒为最上妙香。戒为欢喜胜因。戒体清净如清冷水能除热恼。戒法最大。世间咒法龙蛇之毒而不能侵。持戒得名闻。持戒获安乐。如是命终时。复得生天上。佛言。苾刍。若犯律仪。譬如盲人不见众色。亦如无足不能行道。远离涅槃不到彼岸。若持戒人成就一切法宝。譬如贤瓶圆满坚固。能盛一切珍宝。如是破损珍宝散失。若破律仪。则舍一切善法。先曾犯戒。而后心欲求涅盘。如去眼耳对镜照面。何所堪能。佛言。苾刍。女人无信不可亲近。王恩虽胜不可恃怙。水沫无实不可撮摩。富贵无常不可久住。色相如花须臾变异。寿如熟果不可久停。如急流渡船。如朽屋暂住。宁食毒药不得饮酒。宁入大火不得嗜欲。佛说是经已。时彼苾刍及诸菩萨。皆大欢喜信受奉行。
