軾倅武林日，夢神宗召入禁中，宮女圍侍，一紅衣女童捧紅靴一隻，命軾銘之。覺而記其一聯云：「寒女之絲，銖積寸累；天步所臨，雲蒸雷起。」既畢進御，上極歎其敏，使宮女送出。睇眎裙帶間有六言詩一首，云：「百疊漪漪風皺，六珠縰縰雲輕。植立含風廣殿，微聞環佩搖聲。」
