夜夢嚴君平、司馬相如、揚子雲合席而坐。子雲曰：「長卿久欲求公作畫贊。」余辭以罪戾之余，久廢筆硯。子雲懇祈，不獲已為之。既成，子雲戲余曰：「三賦果足以重趙乎？」余曰：「三賦足以重趙，則子之《太玄》果足以重趙乎？」為之一笑而散。其贊曰：
長卿有意，慕藺之勇。言還故鄉，閭裏是聳。景星鳳凰，以見為寵。煌煌三賦，可使趙重。
