先生不知其名，黃州故縣人，本姓盧，為張氏所養。
陽狂垢汙，寒暑不能侵，常獨行市中，夜或不知其所止。
往來者欲見之，多不能致，余試使人召之，欣然而來。
既至，立而不言，與之言不應，使之坐不可，但俯仰熟視傳舍堂中，久之而去。
夫孰非傳舍者，是中竟何有乎？然余以有思惟心追躡其意，蓋未得也。
熟視空堂竟不言，故應知我未天全。
肯來傳舍人皆說，能致先生子亦賢。
脫屣不妨眠糞屋，流澌爭看浴冰川。
士廉豈識桃椎妙，妄意稱量未必然。
