紹聖元年十一月，戲作《朝雲詩》。
三年七月五日，朝雲病亡於惠州，葬之棲禪寺松林中東南，直大聖塔。
予既銘其墓，且和前詩以自解。
朝雲始不識字，晚忽學書，粗有楷法。
蓋嘗從泗上比丘尼義沖學佛，亦略聞大義，且死，誦《金剛經》四句偈而絕。
苗而不秀豈其天，不使童烏與我玄。
駐景恨無千歲藥，贈行惟有小乘袢。
傷心一念償前債，彈指三生斷後緣。
歸臥竹根無遠近，夜燈勤禮塔中仙。
