人君不得與臣下爭善。同列爭善猶以為妒，可以君父而妒臣子乎？晉、宋間，人主至與臣下爭作詩寫字，故鮑昭多累句，王僧虔用拙筆書以避禍。悲夫，一至於此哉！漢文帝言：「久不見賈生，自以為過之，今乃不及。」非獨無損於文帝，乃所以為文帝之盛德也。而魏明乃不能堪，遂作漢文勝賈生之論。
