成都浣花溪，水清滑勝常，以漚麻楮作箋紙，緊白可愛，數十里外便不堪造，信水之力也。揚州有蜀岡，岡上有大明寺井，知味者以謂與蜀水相似。西至六合，罔盡而水發，合為大溪，溪左右居人亦造紙，與蜀產不甚相遠。自十年以來，所產益多，工亦益精，更數十年，當與蜀紙相亂也。
