狄武襄公者，本農家子。年十六時，其兄素，與裏人失其姓名號鐵羅漢者，鬥於水濱，至溺殺之。保伍方縛素，公適餉田，見之，曰：「殺羅漢者，我也。」人皆釋素而縛公。公曰：「我不逃死。然待我救羅漢，庶幾復活。若決死者，縛我未晚也。」眾從之。公默祝曰：「我若貴，羅漢當蘇。」乃舉其屍，出水數斗而活。其後人無知者。公薨，其子諮、詠護喪歸葬西河，父老為言
