熙寧二年，臣某以《尚書》入侍，遂與政。而子雱實嗣講事，有旨為之說以獻。八年，下其說太學，班焉。
惟虞、夏、商、周之遺文，更秦而幾亡，遭漢而僅存，賴學士大夫誦說，以故不泯，而世主莫或知其可用。天縱皇帝大知，實始操之以驗物，考之以決事，又命訓其義，兼明天下後世。而臣父子以區區所聞，承乏與榮焉。然言之淵懿而釋以淺陋，命之重大而承以輕眇，茲榮也，祗所以為愧也歟！謹序。
