此李少卿贈蘇子卿之詩也。予本不識陳君式，謫居黃州，傾蓋如故。會君式罷去，而余久廢作詩，念無以道離別之懷，歷觀古人之作辭約而意盡者，莫如李少卿贈蘇子卿之篇，書以贈之。春秋之時，三百六篇皆可以見誌，不必己作也。
