某輒有所請：鄉州有俊傑士曰胡君，名天牖，端逸其字也。十年前學校定交，意其旦夕獵獵乘青雲而上，尚遲決科，蓋其命然，心甚敬且念之。來山中聚首半月，且留度重陽，問其館穀，則未有所向也。此君有能賦聲，於應用更高，好自修飭，不為流俗。足下若與處，日從三益，豈曰小補之哉？其家事自好，而嚴君主之，端逸歲得百千上下，則從人泰然矣。萬一賓廡無虛席，則明年君創員以料理之，多費以取友，美德也。端逸留山中，若蒙雅報見及，相其受幣而歸，是所至願！
