予昔待罪館閣，辛君應始改官受龍泉，來訪。予語以山川風俗之故，君離坐傾聽，若謹識之。他日予持節，君適在部內，知君廉且明，於縣百姓有恩也。會予罷歸，後來者於予尋仇，幾累君。賴仁聖在上，君與予俱得免。去年，予忝為郎，君來受倅，相見甚歡，俯仰且兩年。君季子過予，則知予去國未幾，而君逝矣。君仕宦淮襄間，勤勞辛苦，德於人者深。予生晚，不及悉。龍泉於父母旁國，予親友在焉，能言君終始，無一日簠簋帷簿之跡。事實而有證，予是以信君之為賢，悼君之不可作也。君季子以君狀示予，捧卷三讀，為之哽塞。
