臘後五日之夜，大雪待旦而霽，蓋豐年之祥也。因作喜雪之歌，與羣臣同樂之。已，命光祿賜宴，其悉醉而歸。歌曰：
一冬晴明人不厭，臘月雪飛尤所喜。
從古農占重三白，來年有秋預可擬。
昨夜長風廣莫來，號空卷地初停雷。
斯須漫漫撒玉屑，千樹萬樹梅花開。
大地平鋪皆一色，光輝未數瓊瑤白。
四山蒼翠不可尋，但見淩空聳銀壁。
憑高四顧真奇觀，日上扶桑朝不寒。
昔人勞農享臘惟
