一、志目頗多，使不以𩔖相従，未免淆雜無倫，故各以揔志統之，庶幾綱舉而目張之義也。

一、宦蹟惟詳於去任。而見任者，𨿽有善政，不敢登載，盖要終以定論，史家之例然也。

一、進士之名復見於郷榜，登用之士有忠孝大節者，再書於人物，不以重複相嫌者，高其行、侈其遇也。

一、志首疆域，次山川，次田賦，次祠祀，次公宇，次官守，次人物，次登用，次古蹟，次文章，盖酌其事而爲之序也。

一、學校爲繫固重，然亦公署𩔖也。别爲一志，似失之瑣，列諸公宇之首，當亦不失其重矣。

一、寺觀乃老釋之徒祀其師之所，固不當塵諸汗簡，然誠有之，豈得曲諱？故附諸祠祀之末，尚兾來者按籍而漸毀之，亦衞道之一端也。
