何處起根源，流向可方住，機括此中求，知來亦知去。
不必論當令不當令，以取最多旺，可為全局祖者宗為源頭，看此源頭，流到何方，流去之處，若是所喜之神，即在此住了為妙，如：
以火為源頭，至金水方即住，所以富貴，若再流至木地，則氣洩為亂，如未曾流至去方，中間遇阻，看其阻在何地，阻住何神，可以知其吉凶，如：
