三皇制器

夫謂鮮粒之食始於羲農，固是不徵，猶為無害於羲。乃若謂織紝之制始於黃帝，由是世人皆信羲農之世無衣服冠履之儀，故元時，天下郡縣皆建三皇祠，而削羲農之像踝身跣足，惟兩肩及腰以下但被以木葉而已，且結繩網罟非絲麻則不可以為之，而傳記亦謂伏羲制嫁娶，以儷皮為禮，作二十五弦之瑟。伏羲削桐為琴，𥾫絲為弦，意當時必有絲麻以為布帛，織皮為裘褐，衣服冠履必皆有之。但其制樸素無文，至黃帝而始為冕旒、充纊、玄衣、黃裳之制則文且美耳。凡為羲農之像者當加之以衣服、完履可也。
