異姓為後見於史者，魏陳矯本劉氏子，出嗣舅氏，吳朱然本姓施，以姊子為朱後，惟此二人為賢，而賈謐之後充，則有莒人滅鄫之議矣。惟《晉書》有一事與君家相類，云吳朝周逸，博達古今，逸本左氏之子，為周氏所養。周氏自有子，時人有譏逸者，逸敷陳古事，卒不復本姓。學者咸謂為當。然亦未可引以為據，以經典別無可證也。
