嘉陰陽之博施，美天地之廣宣，萬物雜而無越，不易類以相干，或專陽負暑，或凅陰沍寒，塗雖殊而同歸，信協德而俱延。於是孟冬之月，群陰畢升，霜雪紛其交淪，流波結而成凌，啟南墉之重隩，將卻熱以藏冰，山人是取，縣人是承。納遠宮之邃宇，靜幽澹以清澂，抱堅精之玄素，發川靈而長凝，於是寒往暑來，四時代序，帝將攘患，炎災是禦，爾乃攜我同類，援我烝徒，將涉寒藪，害氣是除，攀靈艦而增舉，爰自託於城隅，仰瞻重構，俯臨陰穴，淒清驚冷，觱發栗烈，餘寒嚴悴，淒若霜雪。乃命有司，啟彼潛戶。寒風慘悴，此焉清暑。格炎靈之恣曜兮，摧盛陽之暴怒。弭和春之淒風兮，遏溫夏之苦雨。保百姓之艱難兮，俾群生之寧處。及至股肱，或虧卿士，殞喪寧神，扇暑肅厲，清涼用處，凶禮無失。典常美厚德之兼愛兮，乃惠存以及亡。
