余元康之際，至在滎陽東住，聞主人公言聲大高。須臾出，趣吾車曰：「公府當怪吾家嘵嘵邪？中買得一惡羝奴，名宜勤，身長九尺餘，力舉五千斤，挽五石力弓，百步射錢孔。言讀書，欲使便病。日食三斗米，不能奈何。」吾問公賣不。公喜，便下絹百疋。間請吾曰：「吾胡王子，性好讀書。公府事一不上券，則不為。」公府作券文曰：「取東海巨鹽，東齊羝羊，朝歌浦薦，八板㸠牀；負之安邑，梨栗之鄉，常山細縑，趙國之編，許昌之緫，沙房之綿。作車當取高平莢榆之轂，無尾髑髏之狀，太良白槐之輻、茱萸之輞。河東亂櫛桑轅，太山桑光，長安雙入白烏釘鏁，巧手出於上方。見好弓材，可斫千張。山陰青槻，烏嗥柘桑。張金好墨，過市數蠡。并市豪筆，備即寫書。嗥角幘道，金案玉椀。宜勒供筆，更作多辭。」乃斂吾絹而歸。
