脈理精微，其體難辨。弦緊浮芤，展轉相類。在心易了，指下難明。謂沉為伏，則方治永乖；以緩為遲，則危殆立至。況有數候俱見，異病同脈者乎夫醫藥為用，性命所繫。和鵲至妙，猶或加思；仲景明審，亦候形証，一毫有疑，則考校以求驗。故傷寒有承氣之戒，嘔噦發下焦之間。而遺文遠旨，代寡能用，舊經秘述，奧而不售，遂令末學，昧於原本，斥茲偏見，各逞己能。致微成膏肓之變，滯固絕振起之望，良有以也。今撰集岐伯以來，逮於華佗，經論要決，合為十卷。百病根原，各以類例相從，聲色証候，靡不該備。其王、阮、傅、戴、吳、葛、呂、張，所傳異同，咸悉載錄。誠能留心研窮，究其微賾，則可以比蹤古賢，代無夭橫矣。
