吳氏十國春秋，博採諸史，成一家言，其體裁雅近李延壽南史，余最心愛之，漁獵時輒丹黃其佳處。惜外間印本甚少，嘗欲重鋟，以廣流傳，鹿鹿醫生，恨未果也。疾亟，以剞劂之役囑家人，蓋重文藝，輕死生，書淫結習，故眾人所憫笑者。朝聞夕死，後之同好，幸鑒予哀焉。
乾隆五十三年歲次 戊申夏四月， 少霞 周昂 跋
