卒食，客自前跪徹飯齊，以授相者。主人興辭於客，然後客坐。
「自」，從也。「前」，反向席前也。「齊」，醢醬。「飯齊」，主人親饋，故客親徹。「相」，主人贊饌者。「辭」不言「固」，一辭則已也。客復坐者，待人徹竟然後起。
右第三十一章。此章承二十八章「客不虚口」之後而言，蓋亦燕食之禮也。
