（自述近况）一別滄江，載逢上谷，流光轉睫，幾度春來。祗緣未息鸞棲，不獲一通尺素。頃奉手示，知以作楫之材，暫屈哦松之署。桃花漲息，慶利導於安瀾，鳧舄雲騰，竚升恆於指日矣。
弟乙丑仲春，篷轉孤竹，雖一氈可煖，而春蠶作繭，亦徒爲人成得嫁衣耳。前此簽掣關中，旋以新例頻開，過班無力，已絕燃灰之想；要知黃綬青袍，原非泥塗中所能希倖也。
