讚曰：《本紀》稱「孝成帝善修容儀，陞車正立，不內顧，不疾言，不親指，臨朝淵默，尊嚴若神，可謂穆穆天子之容貌也！博覽古今，容受直言。公卿稱職，威儀可述。遭世承平，上下和睦。然沈於酒色，趙氏內亂，外家擅朝，言之可為於邑。建始已後，王氏始執國命，迄於哀、平，莽遂篡位，葢其威福所繇來漸矣！」劉向、朱雲之忠信明矣，若得而用之，福祚未已。張禹不吐直言，佞於垂死，亦可痛哉！
