惟夫箏之奇妙，極五音之幽微，苞羣聲以作主，冠眾樂而為師，稟清和於律呂，籠絲木以成資。身長六尺，應律數也。故能清者感天，濁者合地，五聲並用，動靜簡易，大興小附，重發輕隨，折而復扶，循覆逆開，浮沉抑揚，升降綺靡，殊聲妙巧，不識其為；平調足均，不疾不徐，遲速合度，君子之行也；慷慨磊落，卓礫盤紆，壯士之節也。曲高和寡，妙伎難工。伯牙能琴，於茲為朦。皦繹翕純，庶配其蹤。延年新聲，豈比能同？陳惠李文，曷能是逢？
