惠州之東，江溪合流，有橋，多廢壞，以小舟渡。
羅浮道士鄧守安始作浮橋，以四十舟為二十舫，鐵銷石矴，隨水漲落，榜曰東新橋。
州西豐湖上有長橋，屢作屢壞，棲禪院僧希固築進兩岸，為飛閣九間，盡用石鹽木，堅若鐵石，榜曰西新橋。
皆以紹聖三年六月畢工，作二詩落之。
