南康江水，歲歲壞城。孔君宗翰為守，始作石城，至今賴之。
某為膠西守。孔君實見代，臨行出《八境圖》求文與詩，以遺南康人，使刻諸石。其後十七年，某南遷過郡，得遍覽所謂八境者，則前詩未能道其萬一也。南康士大夫相與請於某曰：「詩文昔嘗刻石，或持以去，今亡矣。願復書而刻之。」時孔君既沒，不忍違其請。
