某自丹陽移領會稽，首途之日，過邵餗逸人溪齋，因話照湖事，逸人曰：「客有自江夏寄唐人許鼎所撰祖先生《墓誌》，頗言賀監之異。」出而示予，辭精理逺，徐常侍鉉為之别序。既抵郡，訪天長觀，即賀公之舊居也。歎其真堂卑陋以甚，乃命工度材而新之，又刻徐公所序之文，以廣遊人之觀采焉。時寳元元年，知越州范某序。
