唐人王摩詰、李思訓之流，畫山川峰麓，自成變態，雖蕭然有出塵之姿，然頗以雲物間之。作浮雲杳靄，與孤鴻落照，滅沒於江天之外，舉開發宗之，而唐人之典刑盡矣。近歲惟範寬稍存古法，然微有俗氣。漢傑此山，不古不今，稍出新意，若為之為已，當作著色山也。
