熙寧九年夏六月，大雨，野人來告故東武城中溝瀆圮壞，出亂石無數。取而儲之，因守居之北墉為山五，成列，植松柏桃李其上，且開新堂北向，以遊心寓意焉。其銘曰：
誰裒斯堅，土伯所儲。潦流發之，神以畀予。因廡為堂，踐城為山。有喬蒼蒼，俯仰百年。
