茶欲其白，常患其黑。墨則反是。然墨磨隔宿則色暗，茶碾過日則香減，頗相似也。茶以新為貴，墨以古為佳，又相反矣。茶可於口，墨可於目。蔡君謨老病不能飲，則烹而玩之。呂行甫好藏墨而不能書，則時磨而小啜之。此又可以發來者之一笑也。
