鳧繹先生既歿三十余年，軾始從其子復遊，雖不識其人，而得其為人。先生為閬中主簿，以詩餞行者，凡二十余人，皆一時豪傑名勝之流。自景祐至今，凡四十余年，而雕喪殆盡，獨張君宗益在耳。懷先生之盛德，想諸賢之遺烈，悼歲月之不居，感人事之屢變。故書其末，使後生想見其風流云耳。
