李善注《文選》，本未詳備，極可喜。所謂五臣者，真俚儒之荒陋者也。而世以為勝善，亦謬矣。謝瞻《張子房》詩云：「苛慝暴殤。」此禮所謂上中下殤。言暴秦無道，戮及孥稚也。而乃引「苛政猛於虎，吾父吾子吾夫皆死於是。」謂夫與父為殤，此豈非俚儒之荒陋者乎？諸如此甚多，不足言，故不言。
