原夫二儀開闢，雷風以之通響；五材運行，水火因而並用。炎上作苦，既麗純陽之德；潤下作鹹，且協凝陰之度。至於遷陵熱谿，沈魚湧浪；炎洲燒地，穴鼠含煙。火井飛泉，垂天遠扇，焦源沸水，衝流迸集。甘州浴日，跳波邁椒丘之野；湯谷揚濤，激水疾龍門之箭。故以地伏流黃，神泉愈疾云云。其銘曰：
挺此溫谷，驪岳之陰。白礬上徹，丹砂下沉。華清駐老， 飛流瑩心。谷神不死，川德愈深。
