建安之東三十里，有山曰鳳凰。其下直北苑，帝聯諸焙。厥土赤壤，厥茶惟上上。太平興國中，初為御焙，歲模龍鳳，以羞貢篚，蓋表珍異。慶曆中，漕臺益重其事，品數日增，制模目精。厥今茶自北苑上者，獨冠天下，非人間所可得也。方春蟲震蟄，千夫雷動，一時之盛，誠為偉觀。故建人謂至建安而不詣北苑，與不至者同。僕因攝事，遂得研究其始末。姑摭共大概，條為十餘類，曰《

》云。
