伸者為神，屈者為鬼。君臣父子夫婦兄弟者，莊事者也。人之精神，屈於君臣父子夫婦兄弟，而伸於朋友，如春行花內，風雷行元氣內，四倫非朋友不能彌縫。不意西海人利先生乃見此。利先生精於天地人三才圖，其學惟事天主為教，凡震旦浮屠老子之學，勿道也。夫天孰能舍人哉？人則朋友其最耦也。檇李朱銘常，於交道有古人風，刻此書，真可補朱穆、劉孝標之未備。吾曹宜各置一通於座隅，以告世之鳥合之交者。
