宋子曰：人有十等，自王、公至於輿、台，缺一焉，而人紀不立矣。大地生五金，以利用天下與後世，其義亦猶是也。貴者千里一生，促亦五、六百里而生。賤者舟車稍艱之國，其土必廣生焉。黃金美者，其值去黑鐵一萬六千倍。然使釜、鬵、斤、斧不呈效於日用之間，即得黃金，直高而無民耳。貿遷有無，貨居周官泉府，萬物司命繫焉。其分別美惡而指點重輕，孰開其先，而使相須於不朽焉？
