宋子曰：霄漢之間雲霞異色，閻浮之內花葉殊形。天垂象而聖人則之。以五彩彰施於五色。有虞氏豈無所用其心哉？飛禽眾而鳳則丹，走獸盈而麟則碧，夫林林青衣，望闕而拜黃朱也。其義亦猶是矣。老子曰：“甘受和，白受采。”世間絲、麻、裘、褐，皆具素質，而使殊顏異色得以尚焉。謂造物不勞心者，吾不信也。
