《九邊考》司馬魏君東洲所集也。一日，按治夔郡，因論山西三關事宜，遂出所集本以示予。旣而領歸之公署細閱之，九邊之事蹟綱領條目燦然畢具，議論纂述皆有根據，籌邊之良法美意盡在於此。噫！今之刻集遍天下，不過玩物適情之具耳，其視此集有益於國家，有補於生民，有關於世道不同也。請廣其傳且以爲有事於九邊者之一助焉。命千户楊元遂書鋟梓於嘉靖壬寅陽月也。知夔府事關中張環。
