中錫自歸田里，老病侵尋，與世如隔，兼以山林霄漢，地位不同，用是久稽奉問罪曷可云。詎意高明不棄，屢賜吹噓，自非木石，豈不知感。第中錫曩在邊方，撫巡無狀，引疾而歸，於今七載，力倦心灰，不復可用。每領深情，徒增感悵。偶便謹此申謝外，舊作六首并錄奉觀，庶見鄙志，卽辰寒甚。伏惟為國，自嗇不宣。
