東海蕭惠字孟恩者，父昔為御史，與皙先君同僚。孟恩及皙日夕同遊，分義蚤著。孟恩夫婦皆亡，門無立嗣。皙時有伯母從兄之憂，未得自往。致文一篇，以弔其魂，并修薄奠，其文曰：
舊友人陽平束皙：謹請同業生李察奉脯脩一束、麥一器，以致祠於處士蕭生之墓曰：嗚呼哀哉！精爽遐登，形骸幽匿。有邪亡邪，莫之能測。敬薦薄饋，魂兮來食！孟恩孟恩，豈猶我識？
